After graduation Dr Pournima joined the renowned ICR -Dr ML Dhawales Institute Of Clinical research in homoeopathy-Mumbai.Today it also has a big hospital known as ML Dhawale Trust hospital in Palghar. She worked in this institution for many years in various capacities.
Child care & development interested her and she joined Dr MB Barvalias Spandan child care centre for differently abled children at Ghatkopar.
She worked here for 10yrs treating cases like ADHD, Autism. Child development and behavioural problems have always interested her and adds value to her case taking.
